During our recent family getaway at the Mount, we discovered a truly welcoming haven. The charm of this hotel is matched by its perfect location—a short, leisurely stroll led us straight into the heart of York. With the famous York Racecourse nearby, we took advantage of the excitement of flat racing during our stay. It was enjoyable to mingle with the dynamic atmosphere of owners and trainers, making it a thrilling experience for the whole family. We appreciated the spacious room, which comfortably accommodated us, and my partner loved the large bath after a long day exploring the city. Breakfast was a family highlight; the fresh food cooked to order made a delightful start to our mornings. The friendly staff made us feel at home, always ready to assist.
